California Contractors License State Experience Requirements
Not everyone can take the California Contractors license exam. You must have four years experience in your chosen trade. This experience must be in the last ten years. This experience must be either supervisory or actual performance of trade duties. The State will accept self employed experience, even if it was performed in the State of California without a license. If you do not have four years experience the State also issues credit for education. Call one of our enrollment specialist for further explanation of educational credit.
